MY LONDON
Images for inspiration, mainly consisting of some form of Street Photography

Duncan George
He is a UK based photographer who is currently exhibiting in two shows in Singapore. I like his black and white pictures of london (some street photography)
My response (1)
For my first set of Street Photography in response to my London, I chose several different locations around London (such as Camden Market, St Paul's and Oxford Street) to photograph. I attempted to capture ordinary people and scenes in a more artistic or interesting way
I made subtle changes to each image (some more evident than others), in order to improve some aspects of my photography including saturation and exposure

AFTER |
2nd Set of Observations
I took a different approach with these photographs but I wasn't as pleased with the outcome because there was lack of opportunity to capture a moment as I didn't go to as many locations. There also was not much variation of exposure, focus or perspective within these images
My Favourites
I edited my favourite images and changed them to black and white, but some of them look better in colour because it shows the life of the various situations and accentuates most of them.

Matt Stuart was born in 1974, he was raised in Harrow, North West London. He has been shooting on the street for 18 years and learnt to take photographs successfully by assisting a photographer for 3 years. He uses a Leica MP with a 35mm f1.4 Leica Summilux lens and a digital Canon EOS 5D for commercial work.
I like his pictures because they are a good example of street photography. They show real life situations in funny, interesting or abstract ways. He captures moments and I would like to do this in My London, however it will be hard to achieve these pictures because in order to do so you have to constantly have a camera and be ready to take photographs.
Relationships (couples)
I changed my theme to 'Relationships' as it is a less broad idea. The result will be 9 black and white images in order to make the series a more finalised, similar idea
